Political alliance of planets. After developing
wormhole technology the planet
Eden sent starships to contact their
neighbours and a weak power bloc with economic ties called the
Eden Cluster was formed. Shortly after hearing news of the
First Interstellar War the members of the
Cluster were spurred into creating a stronger, more organised alliance with
military integration. In 179 AI (2393 AD) the United Democratic Planets was formed and
the Cluster ceased to exist. The UDP is
one of the seven major power blocs.

Former country on Earth that sent out
starships during
colonisation. In -92 AI (2124 AD) the United States of America
launched the first starship, the
(USS) Enterprise, which travelled to
Alpha Centauri (α Cen). Exact details of the end of the
United States of America are unknown, however the government is believed to have ceased operating immediately following
