One of the power blocs which formed furthest from Sol (Collective, Kingdom and UDP). Because the inner power blocs (Federation, Republic and Combine) have territory closer in, the outer power blocs limit their ability to expand. The distances from the Solar System to the homeworlds of the outer power blocs are:

• Free Worlds Collective (Liberty) - 29.45 light-years,
• Star Kingdom of Pegasus (Pegasus) - 43.4 light-years and
• United Democratic Planets (Eden) - 44.65 light-years.

The League of Independent Worlds consists of colonies at various distances from Sol and does not have a clearly defined territory.
