There are also other types of role playing games. Here are some of those that our members like the most:
Wargamming: There is less role playing involved in this game. Instead of playing one character you control an entire military force. Played with the same figures as tabletop RPGs (or sometimes smaller ones).
Play by Mail: Ideal for people who can not meet up, there are many styles of play by mail, some of which feature role playing or wargamming. Now the Internet has become popular we also have play by email.
Computer RPGs: These usually work like tabletop RPGs but the computer program replaces the game master and rule books. Great fun but not as flexible as games run by people. Computer games also exist that are more like wargamming. One game a lot of our members like is the combat game, Ghost Recon. Virtual Eclipse has arranged several network Ghost Recon games.
