VE Tabletop Role Playing using a combination of the d20 system and our own rules was sucessfully playtested in early 2003. d20 System is a trademark of Wizards of the Coast Inc (WOTC).
About the d20 SystemUnder WOTCs Open Game Licence others can use some of their material. Things you may use are called Open Game Content and things that you are not are called Product Identity. WOTC publishes its Open Game Content on its website, in a document called the System Reference Document (SRD) At the Wizards of the Coast d20 page you can read most of their 3rd Edition & d20 Modern rules, in their SRDs before buying their books! Virtual Eclipse & Open Game Content As of today, Virtual Eclipse has not published any material under the Open Game Licence. If we do publish content in future then all Virtual Eclipse logos & styles and the content of the VE Science Fiction Section and any of its subpages will be designated as Product Identity. Any VE SRD will be published on this page. |
