Like the rest of our website our help system is divided into four sections. This section contains help for people having problems with our role playing games. You will find other help topics by selecting the help button from the other sections. Alternatively you can use these links to switch to the other help pages directly:

If you are trapped in someone elses frame you can use this JavaScript command to escape from it.
If you can not use JavaScript on your browser then opening a link in a new window should work on most websites (for example an IE user should be able to right click a link the on our page and select "Open in New Window" to get a frame free copy of that page). The VE website normally uses relative addressing to help people that view our pages offline. However if someone else is misusing that system to keep you in a frame here is an absolute link that opens this page in a new window.

Our What is Role Playing? subsection gives you a basic introduction to role playing in general, role playing at VE, tabletop role playing games, live action role playing (aka live role playing) and other types of role playing (including wargaming, play by mail and computer RPGs).
Our Glossary subsection has list of role playing terms, live action role playing terms and lazer tag terms that you might hear spoken at a Virtual Eclipse game. So if you don't understand jargon like In Character or Out Of Character, then it is the best place to start looking.
Our LARP subsection has all the basic rules you need to know to play at one of our games and also has information to help people running LARP games.
Our Tabletop & More subsection has information about any other type of roleplaying we organise. It includes information about freeform RPGs, the d20 System and computer games.
Our Events subsection give you details about forthcoming and previous games and events of all types organised or attended by Virtual Eclipse. You can also get game newsflashes from the Virtual Eclipse Yahoo! Group.
