To give you a small background about myself, I essentially hail from Bangalore, Karnataka (India) and work in a software company called SCT Software Solutions. We, as an organization, provide solutions for the Higher-Ed industry and develop solutions that help universities manage all their business processes. Our vision is to offer a full range of solutions that unify teaching, learning, research, and administration for all education communities around the world. I've been working in SCT for the last 7 years and am currently Head - Technology Labs, an group of very talented and commitmet people that evaluates all the latest Microsoft Technologies and sees their applicability into our line of business. This way, I get to keep in touch with all latest tools and try them out.

 

I work mostly on database systems built around SQL Server 2000 (and off-late SQL Server 2005) and application systems developed around the DNA paradigm and off-late the .NET Platform. I'm quite interested in design patterns for enterprise applications and performance testing of systems and keep trying a lot of things in these. I'm also an MCSE and an MCP. And yes, by the way, I love coding!!
