-Introduction- Nnadia, Bobo & Hans (her 2 sisters), along with Ah Yat (her godfather) were all in XiaoShan (蕭山), HangZhou (杭州) from April 11th to April 13th, 2002. They were invited by Shao Bing, a friend of Ah Yat and also the owner of Shao Bing Seafood Restaurant (哨兵海鮮摟) to attend the opening ceremony of a food festival ("大型燕翅鮑美食節開幕式") organized by the restaurant. Nnadia was a guest to cut ribbon at the ceremony. The ceremony was held in XiaoShan International Hotel (蕭山國際大酒店), which was also the place that Nnadia stayed for the whole trip. Having learnt about this trip from Bobo, 6 members of SongLin Fan Club decided to have a gathering with Nnadia in Hangzhou. They include Waruoxi, XiaoXue, JingJing, MuZi, RuoLing and XiaoMan (these are nicknames the 6 members use in the fan club). April 10th: Before coming to HangZhou, Waruoxi has ordered 10 T-shirts from a garment factory with the words '松林歌友會' ('SongLin Fan Club') on them. Waruoxi was the first one to arrive in Hangzhou. After settling down, she came to the Xiao Shan International Hotel and saw in the lobby the banner: '熱烈歡迎香港著名影視明星陳松齡小姐下榻本酒店' ("Welcome HK famous artist Miss Chan Chung Ling to stay in our hotel"). She then found a shop which provides computer cutting service to prepare a banner with SongLin Fan Club's slogan and web site url on it. The slogan, which is '松伶 - 你是我最傾心!' ('Chung Ling - You're the one I admire the most') makes use of the name of one of the songs from Nnadia's album '松松牽掛' ('Missing You'). April 11th: Waruoxi went to pick up Nnadia at the airport. The restaurant also had people to go pick up Nnadia and Ah Yat. They carried a banner with the phrase '歡迎香港著名御廚楊貫一先生、歡迎香港影視紅星陳松齡小姐' ('Welcome HK famous chef Mr. Yeung Koon Yat; welcome HK pop star Miss Chan Chung Ling') on it with them to the airport. The banner quickly caught the people's attention and many of them ended up staying back at the airport and waited to take a look at Nnadia. The restaurant's staff also asked people from Xiao Shan TV station Life Channel (蕭山電視台生活頻道) to record the pick-up of Nnadia and Ah Yat on videotape. The flight, which has been scheduled to arrive at 1:00 p.m., was delayed and landed at 1:40 p.m. instead. It took about 20 minutes for a passenger to get through customs. When Nnadia came out, Waruoxi presented her with flowers. Nnadia and Bobo then introduced her to Ah Yat and she presented flowers to him as well. Shao Bing drove Ah Yat and Nnadia in a Benz to the hotel, while Bobo and the others took another van arranged by the restaurant. They gave Waruoxi a lift. Nnadia and Ah Yat were again welcomed at the entry of the hotel. After knowing that Nnadia would stay in room 2515, Waruoxi returned back to her hotel. April 12th: Other fans arrived in the morning. When they were sharing their opinions on Nnadia, someone by chance turned on the TV and found that Cold Blood Warm Heart was showing on a local TV channel! At 10:00 a.m., they phoned Bobo and were invited to have lunch with Nnadia. At 11:45 a.m., the fans arrived at the hotel. They were told that Nnadia just left 15 minutes ago, but she has already arranged for a car to pick them up to the restaurant. At the restaurant, they were led to a room that was on the same floor as Nnadia's. When Nnadia came into the room, Waruoxi introduced the others to Nnadia and Nnadia shook hands with them. They all wore the T-shirts that Waruoxi had prepared earlier. They also gave 3 of these T-shirts to Nnadia, Bobo and Hans. They talked for a while and after that, Hans took photos for them. Nnadia and her sisters then came back to their room to have lunch. After lunch, Nnadia went downstairs and took photos with some employees of the restaurant. The fans also used this chance to take some more photos with Nnadia. Nnadia then came back to the hotel to prepare for the ceremony, which was going to take place at 4:00 p.m. While waiting in the lobby, the fans met some reporters from local TV stations that were planning to do reports on the ceremony. They then asked the reporters to take some shooting of them and their banner. The XiaoShan's government officials were also invited to attend the ceremony. But as the officials could not arrive on time, the ceremony was delayed until 5:00 p.m. Nnadia and Ah Yat took a rest in the KTV room. Hans came and took photos with the fans. After a while, Nnadia and Ah Yat went out the hotel through the side door and came back at the main entry, where they were presented with flowers once again. The officials finally arrived and the MC introduced them to Nnadia. Nnadia courteously shook hands with them and the ceremony began. The ceremony proceeded and Nnadia gave a speech at last. After the speech, the MC asked her to sing a song and she sang Songbird (Putonghua version) without music. The MC then told everyone that Nnadia will be releasing a new album and hopes that they will all support this new album. Next up for Nnadia was the cutting of the ribbon. People then started to take photos and asked her for autograph. The fans held their banner and took more pictures with Nnadia. Nnadia invited them (the 6 SongLin's members and YouQian from XiaoShan) to a meeting-room on Floor 25. She signed autographs and took photos with the fans. Waruoxi talked with Bobo and Hans and Hans told her that Nnadia will be going to Shanghai in May to shoot a movie and might stay there for a month or so. XiaoXue, who was recording the whole event on videotape, then asked Nnadia to say something to SongLin's members. Nnadia smiled and said, "SongLin is our big family, I love you"... something like that. The fans returned to their hotel. After dinner, RuoLing and XiaoMan returned to Shanghai that night. April 13th: The fans went to the airport at 1:00 p.m. to say goodbye to Nnadia. At around 2:30 p.m., Nnadia arrived at the airport and was very surprised to see the fans there (she thought they have all flew back to their regions already). XiaoXue, MuZi and JingJing then took even more photos with Nnadia. Waruoxi took photos with Ah Yat and then with Nnadia. Nnadia asked the fans to send her the photos and after staying for a while, she finally checked in. Ah Yat and his friends did not leave Hangzhou yet -- they took photos with the fans. Shao Bing then drove all of them back to XiaoShan. XiaoXue, JingJing, and MuZi all departed from HangZhou that night and Waruoxi left on Apr 14th. |
