-Introduction- Nnadia was in Fuzhou from February 25 to February 27 to cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony of the first branch of the Forum Restaurant (富臨飯店) on the mainland. She also had many interviews with the local media. Feb 25th: At 1:30 p.m., Waruoxi and 2 teams of crews from the Forum Restaurant were at the FuZhou Airport to pick Nnadia up. The crews had applied for the pass to get into the international arrivals hall. They brought 4 bunches of flowers with them. When Nnadia came out, Waruoxi took a photo of her. Nnadia saw her and greeted her. Bobo came out next and also greeted her. At that time, some young people came forward and took photos. After that, Nnadia approached Waruoxi, took the flowers Waruoxi presented to her and gave Waruoxi a hug. Waruoxi then presented flowers to Ah Yat. Bobo took a photo for them, with a banner having Songlin's slogan "Chung Ling - You are the one I admire the most" (松伶--你是我最傾心) on it as the background. This again attracted people's attention. They looked for papers and pens so to get Nnadia's autographs. Some also took photos with Nnadia. The crews gave Waruoxi a lift to the Ramada Plaza Fuzhou (華美達大酒店), where Nnadia stayed during her trip. When they reached the hotel, a flock of people asked for autographs and took photos. After settling down, Nnadia and others went to the Forum Restaurant, which is about a 10 minute walk away from the hotel, to have eat. The crews lined up to welcome Nnadia and Ah Yat. Nnadia invited Waruoxi to have lunch together. Since Waruoxi already had lunch, she refused politely and went to find place to stay. After settling down and resting, Waruoxi went back to the Restaurant at a little past four to get more information about the arrangement on the next day. Nnadia asked Waruoxi where has she been and where will she stay. A car came to pick Nnadia and the others up to return to the hotel. Nnadia invited Waruoxi to have dinner together that night. When she got in the car, a group of girls rushed forward and surrounded the car. They all asked for Nnadia's autograph. At a little past six, Waruoxi arrived at the Restaurant. Nnaida and others have not yet arrived, so she had a chat with Hu, the General Manager. Then Gu Wei, a famous MC of Fuzhou TV Station Channel 4 (福州電視台四頻道), lead a 3-man team to have interview Nnadia and Ah Yat. Nnadia and others arrived. Ah Yat let Nnadia interview first. Another girl from a magazine (on food and drinks) came up after the first interview finished. Waruoxi took photos while Nnadia was taking the second interview. After finishing the interview with Ah Yat, Gu Wei would like to shoot more scenes. So Nnadia took them to have a look at the Restaurant's decoration and facilities, including the toilets : ) When they came back, Waruoxi chatted with Nnadia. She told Nnadia that fans have been long waiting for her new album. Nnadia was sorry to have kept the fans waiting. Waruoxi also asked when she will be shooting a new series for TVB. Nnadia said that will be in the second half year. Waruoxi told Nnadia that many fans would like her to take roles like police officer, lawyer or those kinds of professions. The reporters were invited to have dinner together. They chatted before the meal. Waruoxi asked Nnadia if she is Fujianian. Nnadia said yes. Gu Wei then asked her which city in Fujian is her hometown. Nnadia said she doesn't know. Nnadia said this is the first time she came to Fuzhou. She has only been to Xiamen once before. Then Waruoxi expressed her feelings on Nnadia. Nnadia was shy and tried to stop her, but Bobo encouraged Waruoxi to continue. When the reporters learned that Nnadia would release new music album in May or June, they said they would like to have interviews or specials with her if she is coming to mainland then. Nnadia said the reporters are also welcome to contact her if they visit HK. After the main course, Nnadia said in an excitement that she was waiting for the dessert. She was so cute that it reminded Waruoxi of some scenes of Mei Mei in "Knot to Treasure". After the meal, the crews rushed forward to take photos with Nnadia. February 26th: Since Ah Yat has to come back to HK in the afternoon to take part in a banquet by the Chief Executive of HK SAR, Mr Tung Chee Hwa, the opening ceremony was brought forward to 9:00 a.m. Waruoxi met 2 reporters from the Fuzhou TV station Life Channel (福州電視台生活頻道) when she arrived at the Restaurant and other 2 from Fujian Southeast Station (福建東南台) later. She brought them to 2/F to meet Nnadia. Nnadia said she would make arrangements to have interviews with them after the ceremony. The ceremony started. Nnadia, in the middle, together with the Fuzhou government officials and directors of the Forum Restaurant stood on a stage. In front of the stage, there were hundreds of the crews drawn up in array. On the right, there was a Public Security (Police) guard of honour performing. The ceremony was extravagant. After the ceremony, Nnadia was even busier. First, the editor, Lu, of a magazine (<影音時尚>) took her photos in front of the Restaurant. Next, the hundreds of crews surrounded Nnadia and took photos with her. Then Nnadia came back to the 2/F to have interviews with the reporters from many TV stations. The reporters asked which city in Fujian is her hometown. Nnadia said she didn't know when she chatted with Gu Wei the day before, but today her parents told her that it is Xiamen. When the reporters learned that Waruoxi is a member of Nnadia's mainland fans club, they asked her for the site url of the fans club and contact information. Waruoxi showed them the banner, and the reporters took photos and video for Nnadia with the banner as background. During the break of the TV interviews, Lu asked for Nnadia's autograph for the magazine and praised her for the beauty of her handwriting. The reporters of Fujian Southeast Station told Waruoxi that they would have an interview with Nnadia at around 3:00 p.m. So in the afternoon, Waruoxi went to the hotel where Nnadia stayed at. At 3:30 p.m. the Southeast Station and Nnadia decided to shoot a TV program (<名人大會考>) at the time. The program was aired on March 9. Right after that, Nnadia shot an interview for another TV station. Nnadia told the host that she would like to take roles like a police officer, a lawyer or professionals because her fans would like for her to do so. Nnadia does consider the opinions of her fans! After the interviews, Lu took some more photos of Nnadia outside the hotel. That night, Nnadia had to attend a dinner party, on behalf of Ah Yat, to express her appreciation to the guests, so Waruoxi didn't come to disturb her. February 27th: At about 11:00 a.m., Waruoxi phoned Nnadia. Hans answered the call. She asked Waruoxi to come to the hotel and said Nnadia would have an appointment with reporters to take photos at 11:30 a.m. When Waruoxi arrived at the hotel, Hans took her to the hotel room. The two photographers, Chai and Yan, had already setup the things. Nnadia asked Waruoxi where has she been last night. Waruoxi said that she know Nnadia would be very busy last night, so she stayed in her room and watched TV. Nnadia said yes, she was very busy last night. The photographers started to take photos. For the last photo, the photographers asked Waruoxi to have a photo with Nnadia. Nnadia then started for the airport and took the flight at about 2:00 p.m. to return to HK. |
