-Introduction- Nnadia was invited by Miss Yuen and her husband, who are both students of Ah Yat, to Beijing to cut the opening ceremony ribbon for the 3rd branch of their "Son of Abalone Restaurant" (the direct translation of 鮑魚之子酒樓). This branch is on the 2nd floor of the ACFTU Hotel (中國職工之家). ACFTU Hotel is also where Nnadia stayed during the trip. [ACFTU stands for "All-China Federation of Trade Unions"] April 27th: Waruoxi (moderator of Songlin's forum) arrived in Beijing. In the afternoon, she and Athena went to the ACFTU Hotel where they happened to met Miss Yuen, who is known as "Princess of Abalone" (鮑魚公主). Waruoxi had met her once before in Hangzhou, during Nnadia's trip there. April 28th: 12 fans went to pick Nnadia up at the airport. They included Xiaoxue (president of Songlin Fan Club, Beijing Branch), Athena (vice president of Songlin Fan Club), Muzi, Jinjing, Qingyao, Xiaoyu, Shisheng, Jason, Shiwen, Jisong, Xiaohu (Xiaoyu's classmate) and Waruoxi. Xiaoxue even borrowed a van from her unit. The driver joined them willingly to pick Nnadia up too. She arrived at 12:40p.m. About half an hour before the flight landed, Miss Yuen and a team of people arrived to pick Nnadia up. They carried 2 welcoming banners with them. When Nnadia and Ah Yat came out, Athena and Shisheng presented them with flowers, and Waruoxi hugged Nnadia and Bobo. Like in Hangzhou, people in the airport stayed to admire Nnadia. A group of girls who were there to pick up Jay Chow (周杰倫), a singer, also came to take photos with Nnadia and asked for her autograph. Later, one of them even left her group to join the fans to follow Nnadia to the ACFTU Hotel. It was nearly 2:00 p.m. when the fans had lunch. After lunch, they went to the Restaurant to wait for Nnadia, but the manager told them that they cannot wait there since government officials from Ministries will also attend the cocktail party there that afternoon. So Waruoxi and Xiaoxue went up to the 26th floor where Nnadia was staying to find Nnadia and Bobo to discuss the problem. They saw Bobo, Hans and Miss Lau there. Bobo brought them a box of Nnadia's latest photo album "Nnadia Chan in New York" and some mouse pads with Nnadia's picture printed on them as gifts to Songlin's fans! Then the fans explained their problem to Bobo. At that time, Miss Yuen came in. Finally, Miss Yuen said there should be no problem for 3 or 4 fans to get into the Restaurant. At last, the fans decided to have Waruoxi, Xiaoxue, Shisheng and Xiaoyu be at the Restaurant. Nnadia was already in there. The four took photos with Nnadia and videotaped her. When Miss Lau came in, Waruoxi gave her the T-shirt she had asked for (with Nnadia's picture on it). They had brought 3 T-shirts they prepared for Nnadia and her sisters when they went up to the 26th floor, and Miss Lau asked for one too. Nnadia said that this T-shirt is more beautiful than the last one prepared for Hangzhou's trip (because this one has a picture on it), and they can recognize each other as Nnadia's fans by looking at the shirt. She also said that you really need courage to wear the T-shirt and that the fans had touched her. When Waruoxi told Nnadia that the girl in the shop had made 2 extra T-shirts to keep for herself, Nnadia was very happy and said the picture on the shirt is very clear. The four then took photos with Nnadia. When the ceremony started, they took even more pictures. After the ceremony, the waitresses all rushed to be the first to take photos with Nnadia, just like what happened at the Shao Bing Seafood Restaurant in Hangzhou. Since the cocktail party was about to start, the four left. It was already past six. The fans found something to eat while waiting for Nnadia. When Nnadia and Bobo came down, the fans put down the food and ran towards them. Nnadia then took photos with them and signed on the T-shirt they were wearing. Bobo then told Waruoxi and Xiaoxue to go upstairs to ask Ah Yat the arrangement for the next day. Athena brought with her some magazines that have Nnadia's photos on the cover. One of the articles has the title: "Chan Chung Ling, My brother's girlfriend". Nnadia was very surprised and said that she doesn't even know the author's brother. Athena told her that it's just the author's fantasy. At that time, The reporters of Beijing TV Weekly came to interview Nnadia. Only Waruoxi and Xiaoxue's colleague stayed and waited for them. April 29th: At about 1:00 p.m., the fans went to Ah Yat's abalone restaurant in the Jinglun Hotel (京倫飯店) to have lunch with Nnadia. The fans first took photos with Nnadia. Afterwards, Nnadia asked Muzi(one of the fans) if she had to work that day. Muzi answered that she is still in school. Nnadia was very surprised and asked if she skipped school in order to see her. It seems Nnadia would rather have her fans care more about their study! When the fans asked Nnadia when her third photo album will come out, she said that it would be soon. When asked about her new music album, she said she wrote the lyrics for every song in the album. Most songs are in Putonghua (Mandarin), only a few are in Cantonese or English. The fans also asked if she would come to the mainland for the musical "Snow, Wolf, Lake". Nnadia said it is unlikely, because there must be local artists as leads in such performances -- that is required by the policy and they really can't ask Jacky Cheung not to come after all. Nnadia expressed that she would like to be a director if she doesn't sing or act. The fans of course want her to keep on singing and acting. They asked what movie she is going to shoot. She also went there for the exhibition of the world's largest luminescent pearl]. Her character in the movie is somewhat absent-minded, like herself in real life! There will be 3 leading actors, and one she mentioned is Mark Kwok. At that time, someone came to ask for Nnadia's autograph. The meal was about to start, so Nnadia had to beg the fans to stop taking photos and to stop videotaping as she was already hungry.
