| Abstract: |
At the recent Cybercrime Summit 2001 in Washington,D.C, security experts set out the dangers of not devising and adhering to internal security policies and computer crime forensics procedures. Speaking at the conference, Christian Genetski, an attorney who specializes in cyberlaw at the Washington office of Kirkland & Ellis, said that policies need to be created that spell out specific terms of acceptable use of company systems and security requirements for employees, customers, and even contract workers. A sidebar provides advice on good computer crime forensics procedures. |
