WEBMASTER I'm Dora. I'm twenty two. I live in Melbourne, Australia, and have been in Melbourne since June 1998.
I'm a University graduate and I am hoping to head into a career of web design. I'd love to get into the media/arts/entertainment field somehow.
I love rock & punk music, and have been since late 2000. Some of my favourites include:
KISS (they're GODS!), Nirvana, Sex Pistols, Garbage, Good Charlotte, Puddle of Mudd and Linkin Park. I am also very partial to 70's and 80's music. I hate dance/techno music.
Have I seen Billy before? Met him, no. Seen him, yes I have. October 12th, 2002, to be more accurate. The concert was M-One. I won tickets to that event. It wasn't only Billy, but a huge line-up of international and local rock acts. Billy was the driving force, though.
Site name? The name Idolise took me a little while to come up with. I originally thought about using a song title, but I thought it was too plain.
I began thinking about Billy's name, and everything came together..Billy Idol - fans idolise him, and there you have it.
Don't fret about the spelling. Being from Australia, we spell idolise with an S, not Z.
Why? Why did I start idolise? I'm still asking myself that same question...
Actually, idolise came about because I wanted to try and make some sort of impact on the WWW with a new Billy Idol site.
There's a small number of sites out there, and a small majority have been left floating, which is unfortunate.
Another reason for starting this site is because I'm a budding web-designer. I like to flex my HTML skills whenever I can.
Other I run another site that shows my artworks and whatnot.
