He came, he saw, he conquered.
After 15 years, Billy returned to Australia to play at the rock festival M-One (info can be found here).
He played in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne (October 12th) and Perth. Most reviews actually had Billy down as the clincher of the show.
He in fact was on stage the longest of any other acts, clocking up one hour.
He played all the hits, and had the crowd pumping; literally. It was a sea of fists!
I attented Melbourne's M-One. I stood 13 hours straight, wedged up against a steel barricade - and it was WELL worth the pain factor.
It was a stark contrast to Billy's previous tour, where in fact he was on hand to help present an award at an Awards show with Ian "Molly" Meldrum. Billy was cleary intoxicated, and said a few 'memorable' things.
He closed the show at M-One by promising us he wouldn't take another 15 years to return to Australia.
I for one, cannot wait for the next announcement...
