| The weather values are collected from an Oregon Scientfic Cable Free Weather Station. The weather station is polled continuously via software written in Java for the table below, with instaneous readings written to an Oracle Express Database, and summarized every five minutes for long term storage. The Current Conditions Site is a dynamic web page displaying the most currently available data. Every hour a C# application executes building the the SVG based charts that can be viewed via the first link below. The Weather Underground Rapid-Fire Flash display is updated from the instaneous data via an Oracle Stored procedure approximately every 10 seconds | |
